Did you know...?

Hi Everyone!

Did you know how simple fresh pesto is to make?  Me either!  I was reading one of my go to blogs (17 Apart) because quite honestly they are two cool birds living in one very cool town and have a house in a historic district....you just can't beat that.  So they had this video that I will post below on how to make fresh pesto. After watching it, I just cannot believe I EVER bought store pesto.

Now I slightly adjusted the utensils I used because I haven't a fancy schmancy cutting board nor do I own an ulu.  I am quite embarrassed to say that last bit out loud because I live in Alaska where tons of beautiful ulu's are handmade, there really is no excuse not to have gotten one yet.  I used my food processor on low to chop and mix everything up.  

So for tonight's dinner, I'm making simple pasta and homemade pesto along with a good crusty bread.  A perfect choice for a winter's night and carb binge.  Enjoy the video!
