One big thing I have truly missed since moving up here to Juneau are the farmer's markets. When we first moved to Coeur D'Alene, ID I would get up early and jog to the Farmer's Market and pick up fresh Huckleberries for breakfast pancakes on Saturdays. As well as grab a cup of coffee and enjoy all the hubbub.
As far as I'm aware, we don't really have "farmer's markets" here in Juneau. Not to say that we couldn't. I mean we have a community garden and I've been told many people have chickens. We might need to have little tents or some sort of covering because of the rain....kind of like Pikes Place Market :) Only smaller. We have the seafood too, geeze we could really have a cool little market on Saturdays now that I think about it.
Anyhow, I'm pretty sure if we did have a market here in Juneu I'd not be able to wear this to it....
Quiksilver racerback tank, $68
Scotch & Soda short shorts, €76
Steve Madden flat sandals, $60
Canvas tote, $20

It would be more like this....
Well I can dream, and I bet you one day we have a sweet market. We are just too cool of a town not to. On the other hand if we had that kind of a market then everyone would want to move up here....so it's probably best that we don't. I quite like Juneau the size it is :)

Angie, you must get started on that farmer's market! Just keep it a well kept secret with the neighbors.
ReplyDeleteI do prefer the last outfit - those boots are sooo cute. (and Polyvore is a guilty pleasure of mine, but I can't figure out how to make outfits!! LOL)
