Had a first today. I love first's. I've never seen a wolf in the wild before. You know I always thought I would have seen it out hiking or something...but never in my wildest dreams did I think I would have seen it in my back yard.
At first I thought it was a deer, they usually come through about this time in the morning. But then once it got out of the trees and onto the dirt road just above the yard I saw that it was definitely NOT a deer. I ran to grab my camera all the while screaming into the phone to my Mom "Oh. My. Gosh. Mom! There is a wolf in my yard!!!"
Hahaha, this day is shaping up to be a pretty good one so far.
The pictures are not that great, I was on the phone jumping up and down while taking them. Yep, pretty sure my mentor Mr. Tim Christie would be shaking his head at me for not keeping some composure but like I said, it was a first...those are always the most exciting.
Fingers crossed this wolf will come back and I can get some better pictures.
